On the morning of March 22, School of International Education invited the directorof school hospital, Ban Ying and the other relevant doctors to give a speechconcerning tuberculosis prevention and health education to internationalstudents. Thus, the activity of second health education week has been carriedout from now. Yu Yue, vice dean of the School of International Education,presided over this education activity.
Themeof this health education week is “It’s Time to prevent the Tuberculosis”.
BanYing explained the importance of tuberculosis prevention and the mainprevention methods. At the mean time, they arranged an on-site consultation forinternational students. At around 50 international students participated inthis health education speech activity and finish the questionnaires abouttuberculosis.
Exceptfor this education speech, School of International Education also used largescreens and exhibition boards to popularize the knowledge of tuberculosis andother infectious diseases prevention in student’s dormitory, classrooms andother places, so as to cultivate students' awareness of prevention and create aharmonious and healthy learning atmosphere.
