In order to further implement the key pointsof TCU's safety and stability work in 2019 and enhance the awareness of firesafety and the ability of emergency escape for international students, with thehelp of fire policemen of Xiqing Branch of Municipal Public Security Bureau,School of International Education conducted an emergency fire safety drill forinternational students in dormitory on the afternoon of April 2.In total, morethan 70 students participated this safety drill.
With the fire escape emergency drill alarmsounded and smoke quickly dispersed in the corridor and air, the international studentscame out of the rooms with the wet cloth covered and evacuated orderly. Thefirefighters even also simulated the rescue process of the ladder fire truck. Then,the public security fire brigade, Captain Gao demonstrated the use of fireextinguishers on the spot.
Finally, this drill ended with the firesafety speech given by the deputy dean, Yu Yue. No doubt, this drill has provideda vivid lesson for the students who have acquired some knowledge of fire protection.
