Since the second semester of 2020-2021 academic year already began, in order to ensure the safety and stability of international students in the normalized management of epidemic prevention and control, School of International Education (SIE) held the new semester’s safety education conference for international students on March 24. Deputy secretary of the school’s Party branch and vice dean, Yu Yue, international student counselors and international students on campus attended the meeting. International students outside of the school attended the meeting through video.
The first part is hosted by the vice dean, Yu Yue. He emphasized the current management measures during the COVID-19 prevention and control period, together with the recent vaccination campaign.
The second part is introduced by the student counselor, Zhang Wanlu, who reminded the students to pay more attention to the food safety, traffic safety, fire safety, as well as personal and property safety, especially the telecommunications fraud and school bully.
At the end of the meeting, the school organized students who are willing to get vaccinated for this time to register on-site.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, SIE has always put the interest of international students in the first place and strictly carried out the measures according to the epidemic prevention and control requirements of TCU and relevant departments. SIE's leadership team and international student counselors will continue to try their best to ensure the international students have a safe and sound life here.
