Tianjin FaYao Education Group visits School of International Education

On March 25th, Senior Vice President of Tianjin FaYao Education Group and Dean of Tianjin International Chinese College and his delegation paid a visit to School of International Education.  Zhang Hai school dean and Wang Xiao vice dean, and relevant staff members participated in this research activity.

                               


During the meeting, Vice President Zhou Xi expressed great pleasure at having the opportunity to visit the School of International Education and exchange ideas once again. He provided a detailed overview of Group's development in areas such as primary education, studying abroad, Chinese language promotion, and training in traditional Chinese cultural accomplishment. He specifically highlighted the guidance provided by the Group's International Education Department Tengqiao Study Abroad Center in assisting Chinese students to study overseas, as well as the role of Foreign Students Education Department International Chinese College in promoting foreign students to come to China for study and exchange.

Dean Zhang Hai extended a warm welcome to Vice President Zhou Xi and his delegation. He gave a detailed introduction to the specific situation of the school's international exchange and cooperation, Sino-foreign cooperative education, and international students education. He acknowledged the International Chinese College’s initiative to serve the country's "Belt and Road" initiative, actively promoting foreign Chinese teaching, continuously innovating teaching methods, catering to various overseas needs, and achieving good teaching results. He expressed hope for expanding cooperation between both sides in the future and making positive contributions to promoting Sino-foreign cultural exchange.

Subsequently, the participants exchanged views and had discussions on education for international students with academic qualifications, short-term exchange programs for international students, and "Chinese Bridge" delegation program. Both sides will collaborate on a series of initiatives focusing on the City’s intangible cultural heritage experiences, continuously improving the teaching level of education for international students, and expanding the strength of international Chinese language dissemination.
