For reducing potential effectsof differenttime zones on international students’learning,theInternationalstudents in different time zones are classified as three different groups, and follow the different learning arrangement. The detail and arrangement are hereby notified as follow:
A.The First Group (Ⅰ):If the timedifferences of international student’s home countries areno more than 2.5 hours than that in China, the students should follow the curriculum to study.
B.The Second Group (Ⅱ):If the time differences are more than 2.5 hours between the time zone of international students’home countries andthatof China, the students may join the online modules from the third class (14:00 Beijing Time) of the curriculum. For the modules at 10:10-11:45 (Beijing Time) of the curriculum they missed, students should finish self-learning at 20:00-21:30 Beijing Time. If they have any doubt in learning, they may ask questions to module lecturers in WeChat between 21:30-22:00 Beijing Time. For the modules they missed, students should submithomework, assignments or reports based on lecturers’requirement on time.
C.The Third Group (Ⅲ)：For students who cannot attend the modules because of theproblemsof cables, Wifi, or system, they can use the resources sent by lecturers in modules WeChat groups to finish self-study and submit homework, assignments or reports based on lecturers’requirement on time. If they have any doubt in learning, they may ask questions to module lecturer in WeChat.
The learning arrangement will come into force since 9thMarch, Monday.
Attachment 1 listsstudents’namein each group. All students are classified into two groups based on the time zone of their home countries. All students in China will be in the First Group. If any students cannot attend the modules because of theproblemsof cables, Wifi, or systems, they are belonged to the Third Group, they should confirm with their headmasters, and follow the Third Group learning requirement.
