From April 27 to 29, 2022, the School of International Education (SIE) participated in the "2022 China Higher Education International Admissions Online Exhibition" organized by China Education Association for International Exchange. The online exhibition attracted more than 140 Chinese institutions to participate in the exhibition. The exhibitors introduced the high-quality and internationalized majors and courses of Chinese universities, and promoted scholarship programs to show the development achievements of Chinese higher education in a comprehensive and three-dimensional manner. Teachers and students from Asian, European, American and African countries viewed the exhibition online. Our university was invited to participate in the online exhibition for the first time.
During the online live broadcast, the teachers in charge of admissions of international students introduced the overview of the university (TCU), the development of international education of TCU, internationalized professional courses, scholarship programs, admission policies and application procedures to international students in detail by means of text, pictures, videos and interactive message boards, which promoted international students' in-depth understanding of our university's education in China and attracted more international students to apply to our university.
In the next step, SIE will continue to do a good job in enrollment and management of international study in China, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road", expand enrollment channels in multiple dimensions, increase enrollment publicity, improve the enrollment examination process, optimize the country structure of student sources, improve the cultivation level of international study in China for TCU, and steadily improve the quality of education in China.
