On 4th July, President Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, sent a reply letter to the international students of Nanjing Audit University's International Master of Auditing Program, urging them to actively contribute to deepening friendship and cooperation between nations. The letter has generated an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response among our school's international student community.
Salah, a student from Morocco, stated, "President Xi's words truly resonate with my experience in China. Not only have I honed my professional skills in civil engineering through classroom learning, immersive visits to engineering training bases and construction sites, but I have also acquired profound knowledge and understanding of Chinese architecture and culture. When I return to my country following the academic accomplishment, I will be dedicated to sharing my learning and experience from China with my family and friends, thereby fostering stronger China-Africa relations as a contributor and ambassador."
Atif, a Pakistani international student who was on the verge of completing his study and preparing to return to his homeland, expressed his thoughts on the letter. He stated his commitment to leveraging the knowledge gained in China for the better development of his hometown. At the same time, he is going to effectively tell his personal stories and experience from China, and tries to serve as a dedicated messenger of friendship and a bridge of cooperation between China and Pakistan.
Next, School of International Education will embark on a deep and comprehensive study, promotion, and implementation of the principles established in the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Guided by Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought, the school will adopt this as the fundamental framework for the implementation of overseas education in China. By effectively telling "China’s stories" and conveying "China’s voice", the aim is to present a positive and accurate “China’s image” to international students, thereby cultivating international talents who possess profound knowledge of China and deep affection for China.
