To further strengthen fire safety education, enhance international students' awareness of fire safety, enable students to master basic fire knowledge and evacuation skills, and ensure the safety of lives and property, on the afternoon of March 14th, with the support from the School Security Office, school of International Education organized more than 20 international students to participate in fire escape tent experience and fire extinguisher use activities.
During the activity, the teachers from the Security Office explained in detail the essentials and precautions for fire escape to the international students, demonstrating how to correctly use fire extinguishing equipment for self-rescue and mutual assistance, how to evacuate orderly and safely, and how to minimize casualties. The VR device simulated the real scenario of a fire outbreak, allowing students to have a "zero-distance" encounter with firefighting, mastering the skills and abilities of the fire escape, thus effectively consolidating emergency fire prevention knowledge, and enhancing fire safety awareness.
School of International Education has always attached importance to international students' safety education, regularly holding safety education conferences, conducting fire emergency drills, addressing safety hazards, implementing various safety precautions, thus effectively enhancing our students' emergency self-rescue capabilities in response to fires and safety evacuation and strengthening students' awareness of fire safety and self-protection abilities, which plays a positive role in creating a safe and harmonious campus environment.
