On October 12, School of International Education Launched an orientation course for 2024 freshmen,which was aimed at helping them adapt to the new environment the vibrant campus life at Tianjin Chengjian University. It covered a wide range of topics, including education and teaching, laws and regulations, daily administration, and mental health.
Wang Xiao, the Dean of the International Education College, offered a detailed explanation of the curriculum structure, teaching plans, credit requirements, and attendance requirements. This comprehensive overview was intended to help international students familiarize themselves with the university's educational system and standards.
Meanwhile, Li Xin, the Counselor for the 2024 international students, delivered lectures on topics concerning laws and regulations, daily university administration, and mental health guidance. He explained in detail the relevant Chinese laws and university regulations, while also introducing mental health knowledge like stress management and emotion control. His presentation aimed to help students cultivate a positive mindset and adjust to their new academic and living environment.
