School of International Education "China in My Eyes" Artistic Work Competition

As part of its celebration for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, School of International Education organizes the artistic work contributions for “China in My Eyes”. This activity will collect and share foreigners’ impressions of China, showing active sprite of contemporary university student.

 Relevant requirements are as follows:

I. Theme

China in My Eyes.

II. Participants

Students of School of International Education

III. Subjects

The works can be in the form of micro-video, photography, painting and calligraphy, handicraft, etc. The activities are divided into two parts: collecting works and exchanging and displaying works.

The artistic works can be in the form of micro-video, photography, painting and calligraphy, handicraft, etc. The activities are divided into two parts: collecting works; exchanging and displaying works.

1. Collection of works: 16 September, 2019 - 25 September, 2019;

2. Exchanging and Display: from September 26 to October 30, 2019, the location is Zhumeng International Public Creation Space and Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Experience Center.

1. Outstanding Works Award: 2;

2. Best Popularity Award: 4;

3. Best Creative Award: 6;

4. A number of Commemorative Awards.

VIII. Artistic Work Requirements

1. Micro-video: there are no limitations on shooting tools. Submitted works should be in MP4 format, with a 3:4 picture ratio, 720P or more in clarity and no more than 5 minutes in length. Artistic creation and processing of works are allowed, but objective reality should be accurately reflected.

2. Photography: photo format is JPEG format, size 2M or more.

3. All entries must be original works of the author, and plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

4. Submit the entries to the mailbox: guojijiaoyu6699@163.com. The entries are uniformly named "name + student number + work name + mobile phone number", with a description of the entries within 150-200 words, including shooting time, shooting location, etc.

IX. Matters Needing Attention

1. If the submitted work has been awarded in other events, the organizer has the right to cancel the award and the corresponding prize.

2. The contest does not charge any fees for the contestants. Contestants should take legal responsibility for the copyright and portrait rights involved in the work; all the works submitted are copyrighted by the organizer, and the organizer has the right to use it again without any payments.

3. Please refer to official award announcement for the final selection outcome. All the contributors are deemed to agree and abide with the above provisions.

4. The final interpretation right of this activity belongs to the organizer.
