2023 Labor-Day Holiday is coming. To ensure your safety and goodness during the holiday time, we offer some safety tips for you. Everyone must obey the rules and regulations when stay in China, otherwise you will be disciplined.
Holiday starts from April 29 (Saturday) to May 3 (Wednesday), totally 5 days. All students should start to take both online courses on May 4 (Thursday).
1. All students are required to abide by the Chinese laws, regulations, social customs and TCU’s rules and regulations.
2. Prostitution, whoring, drug taking and trafficking and other illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
3. It is strictly forbidden to go to bars, nightclubs and other places. Gambling, alcohol abuse, physical assaulting, and any other behaviors that disrupts the normal order of life are strictly prohibited.
4. Illegal employment, business or other business activities are strictly prohibited.
5. International students who live off-campus should register with the local public station within 24 hours after they enter the residence and apply for a check card.
6. No alcohol, no smoking, no cooking, and no disturbing inside our dorm.
7. Pay attention to the fire safety. Do not use large-power electric utensils or some broke utensils. Remember to turn off all of the switches when you leave the room. Do not put any switch socket in the bed or any place which is inflammable.
8. Pay attention to the food safety. Do not eat unhealthy or expired food. Always keep the kitchen and canteen clean.
9. To prevent telecom fraud, do not provide personal information such as fingerprint, profile picture, passport number or transfer money to strangers and contact the class head teacher immediately if you are cheated.
10. Carry your passport anytime when you go out.
11. Obey the traffic rules when going out, crossing roads, especially driving an electric motorcycle. No drunk driving and fatigue driving.
12. In the event of robbery, violence, theft, electronic fraud, traffic incidents and other events, please call the police number110 and inform the class head teacher immediately.
13. Please call 120 when you encounter serious accident injuries.
14. Insurance service: Do be sure to firstly call 4008105119 transit 1 to make a diagnosis inquiry before you go to see a doctor. The hospital has to be a public hospital and every time you go to hospital, you must ask the doctor to write the medical record for you. For outpatient treatment (disease), starting-line is 650 RMB; daily limitation is 600RMB. For hospitalization, please leave in a normal ward (3 or more than 3 people).
